Job Overview:

Our Database Administrators are responsible for managing and resolving database-related issues. You will monitor system parameters, analyze data growth trends, collaborate with development teams, identify problems, and suggest performance improvements. Additionally, you will develop and propose tools to monitor databases and server resources. Our team is driven by customer obsession, and you will play a key role in the success of CureMD's product suite by understanding and advocating for our clients' challenges.

Job Responsibilities:
  1. Maintain databases in SQL Server 2008, 2008 R2, 2012, 2014, 2016, and 2017.
  2. Manage and resolve database-related issues.
  3. Monitor system parameters to optimize performance.
  4. Plan for data growth and capacity management.
  5. Collaborate with development teams to identify issues and enhance performance.
  6. Develop and suggest tools for monitoring databases and server resources.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
  • At least 3 years of experience in database management, e.g., MSSQL.
  • Proven ability to provide effective solutions for customer issues.
  • Experience supporting databases in the IT Healthcare domain.
  • Hands-on experience with SQL Server platforms, including SSIS, BIDS, and performance monitoring tools.
  • Background in O/A levels studies.
  • Experience with RDBMS administration, e.g., MSSQL.
  • Strong knowledge of MSSQL and database management systems.
  • Understanding of physical database design and performance tuning.
  • Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and monitoring skills.
  • Proficiency in query writing and MSSQL backup and recovery methods.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to work independently.
  • Knowledge or experience in database migrations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
