Devsinc is looking for a Senior Software Engineer (MERN) to join our team. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in the MERN stack—MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js—to design and build innovative web applications that meet the needs of our clients. You will play a key role in the entire software development lifecycle, from concept and design to deployment and maintenance.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and maintain high-performance, scalable web applications using the MERN stack
  2. Architect robust application structures to ensure durability and maintainability
  3. Implement RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services when necessary
  4. Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
  5. Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards
  6. Mentor junior developers and assist in their professional growth
  7. Keep up-to-date with emerging technologies and propose improvements to our development processes

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
  2. 4-5 years of experience in software development, particularly with the MERN stack
  3. Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, TypeScript, and responsive web design
  4. Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs, Microservices, and cloud-based services
  5. Good knowledge of database design and management, specifically with MongoDB
  6. Experience with testing frameworks and methodologies to ensure software quality
  7. Familiarity with version control systems (especially Git) and agile development practices
  8. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  9. Strong verbal and written communication skills
  10. Experience in client communication
