Role Description

This is a full-time role for an Accountant at Candy Land, located in Hyderabad. The Accountant will be responsible for managing all financial transactions, from fixed payments and variable expenses to bank deposits and budgets. Day-to-day tasks will include auditing financial documents and procedures, reconciling bank statements, and calculating tax payments and returns. The Accountant will also prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, ensure timely processing of tax payments and various overheads, and comply with financial policies and regulations.

Qualifications

  • Experience in preparing accounting reports, financial statements, and budgets
  • Knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting software, such as QuickBooks or similar
  • Proficiency in reconciling accounts and auditing financial transactions
  • Skills in preparing tax returns and ensuring compliance with regulations
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Experience in the event management industry is a plus
