About the Division:

Al-Ghazi Tractors Limited, the subsidiary company of Al-Futtaim group of Dubai, is a story of rollicking success. With consistent corporate achievements, the company is recognized for corporate excellence and "Best Corporate Performance".

With its Corporate office in Lahore, the AGTL plant at Dera Ghazi Khan, manufactures New Holland (Fiat) tractors in technical collaboration with CNHI - Case New Holland, the Number One manufacturer of agricultural tractors in the world. The AGTL plant, an icon of engineering dynamics operates on high efficiency. With Quality Control and Quality Assurance, quality improvement systems exist at every level. What you will do?

Key Responsibilities

Technical & Cost KPIs (Tractor Parts Focused)

  • Track cost fluctuations of critical tractor parts and raw materials (e.g., steel forgings, castings, rubber components) using cost indexing based on metallurgical composition and market trends.
  • Monitor price deviations daily and maintain cost sheets for all locally and globally sourced components.
  • Ensure procurement KPIs are met, including cost efficiency, lead time adherence, inventory optimization, and supplier delivery performance.
  • Apply cost escalation strategies proportionate to material price shifts, ensuring tractor production costs remain controlled.
  • Drive localization and alternate sourcing strategies to reduce cost without compromising quality or supply continuity.

Financial Budget & Control

  • Own and manage annual purchasing budgets for tractor components.
  • Forecast procurement costs based on indexed material trends and business demand.
  • Ensure capital expenditure and procurement spend aligns with cost control and operational targets.

Relationship & Supply Chain Management

  • Maintain strong relationships with tractor parts suppliers (local and imported), ensuring reliable supply for uninterrupted production.
  • Collaborate with R&D and Production to source new materials and reduce part lead times.
  • Communicate supply risks or market changes proactively to internal stakeholders, ensuring alignment with production and sales targets.

Reporting & Compliance

  • Maintain compliant procurement records for audits and internal controls.
  • Prepare periodic procurement performance reports and dashboards (cost variance, supplier scorecards, delivery timelines).
  • Report delays or issues in procurement of critical parts to relevant stakeholders in a timely manner.

People & Team Leadership

  • Lead and mentor the procurement team to achieve targets related to cost control, vendor management, and tractor part availability.
  • Set team KPIs and conduct regular performance evaluations.
  • Ensure cross-functional collaboration with Quality, Production, and Finance for seamless procurement operations.

Education:

  • Metallurgical/Mechanical/Industrial/Agricultural Engineering Degree or Masters in Supply Chain

Minimum Experience and Knowledge:

  • 16–20 years of experience in manufacturing or FMCG industry, specifically in costing and supply chain finance.

Job-Specific/Technical Skills required to complete the tasks:

  • Knowledge and application of industry standard Supply Chain Management processes and procedures.
  • Excellent oral and written English communication.
  • Experienced with ERP systems, MS Office
  • Proven leadership and management skills with the ability to optimise team performance and development
  • Excellent relationship management skills with the ability to engage, negotiate and manage key stakeholders and suppliers
  • Strong and confident negotiator with the ability to negotiate at all levels
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and influencing skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving abilities
  • Results orientated with ability to plan and deliver against project deadlines
  • Commercially and financially astute with experience of managing budget
