Video & Animation Editor

We are seeking a talented and creative Video and Animation Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for storytelling, a keen eye for detail, and strong technical skills to produce high-quality video and animated content.
Role Description
This is a full-time remote role as a video and animation editor at codeX. The Video and Animation Editor will be responsible for video production, video editing, video color grading, motion graphics, and graphics design.
Key Responsibilities:
Video Editing:
- Edit raw footage into polished videos for various platforms, including social media, websites, and presentations.
- Incorporate graphics, sound effects, music, and voiceovers to enhance video quality.
- Collaborate with the creative team to align video content with brand guidelines and objectives.
Animation Creation:
- Design and create engaging 2D/3D animations and motion graphics for use in videos, advertisements, and other media.
- Develop animated sequences to support storytelling, product demos, or educational content.
Content Optimization
- Ensure videos are optimized for different platforms (e.g., YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok).
- Maintain consistency in style and branding across all video and animation projects.
- Work closely with the marketing, design, and production teams to brainstorm and execute creative concepts.
- Communicate effectively to understand project goals and incorporate feedback into final edits.
Technical Tasks
- Manage and organize video and animation files efficiently.
- Stay updated with the latest video editing software, animation tools, and industry trends.
Qualifications
- Video Production and Video Editing skills
- Video Color Grading and Motion Graphics expertise
- Proficiency in video animation software
- Strong attention to detail and creativity
- Ability to work independently and remotely
- Experience with 3D modeling and animation is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Film Production, Animation, or related field
