We are seeking a talented and creative Video and Animation Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for storytelling, a keen eye for detail, and strong technical skills to produce high-quality video and animated content.

Role Description

This is a full-time remote role as a video and animation editor at codeX. The Video and Animation Editor will be responsible for video production, video editing, video color grading, motion graphics, and graphics design.

Key Responsibilities:

Video Editing:

  1. Edit raw footage into polished videos for various platforms, including social media, websites, and presentations.
  2. Incorporate graphics, sound effects, music, and voiceovers to enhance video quality.
  3. Collaborate with the creative team to align video content with brand guidelines and objectives.

Animation Creation:

  1. Design and create engaging 2D/3D animations and motion graphics for use in videos, advertisements, and other media.
  2. Develop animated sequences to support storytelling, product demos, or educational content.

Content Optimization

  1. Ensure videos are optimized for different platforms (e.g., YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok).
  2. Maintain consistency in style and branding across all video and animation projects.
  3. Work closely with the marketing, design, and production teams to brainstorm and execute creative concepts.
  4. Communicate effectively to understand project goals and incorporate feedback into final edits.

Technical Tasks

  1. Manage and organize video and animation files efficiently.
  2. Stay updated with the latest video editing software, animation tools, and industry trends.

Qualifications

  1. Video Production and Video Editing skills
  2. Video Color Grading and Motion Graphics expertise
  3. Proficiency in video animation software
  4. Strong attention to detail and creativity
  5. Ability to work independently and remotely
  6. Experience with 3D modeling and animation is a plus
  7. Bachelor's degree in Film Production, Animation, or related field
