Note: This is not an entry-level role. Only apply if you have at least 2 years of experience with YouTube-style editing and motion graphics (similar to Iman Gadzhi, Ali Abdaal, etc). Compensation will be provided accordingly.

Role Summary

We're looking for a skilled and experienced Video Editor & Motion Graphics Artist to join Reel Engine Studios. This is a full-time, remote role. The ideal candidate must have at least 2 years of experience in Adobe After Effects and a strong understanding of YouTube content, particularly talking head videos. The candidate should be able to work independently, producing high-quality motion graphics and animations that enhance YouTube videos. Success in this role means delivering polished, professional content that aligns with our creative vision.

Responsibilities

Specialize in YouTube-style editing, ensuring high engagement, dynamic pacing, and audience retention.

Take ownership of the full video editing process, from raw footage to final cut, with minimal supervision.

Create advanced motion graphics and animations in After Effects to elevate content.

Edit videos in Adobe Premiere Pro, ensuring smooth transitions, pacing, and a consistent flow.

Collaborate closely with the founder and clients to ensure alignment with creative vision and performance goals.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Adobe After Effects.
  • Intermediate to expert-level proficiency in After Effects (Beginners will not be considered).
  • Must be a YouTube content specialist with prior experience in creating talking head videos.
  • Talking head video samples
  • After Effects motion graphics samples
  • Candidates from Islamabad/Rawalpindi are preferred.

Disqualification Criteria

Applications will not be considered if:

  • The candidate fails to submit YouTube-related content samples.
  • The candidate does not provide After Effects work samples.
  • The candidate does not demonstrate high-level proficiency in After Effects.
