Are you an experienced accounting professional with a sharp eye for detail and a passion for precision?

OB Hospitality Group is on the lookout for a Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team in Karachi.

As the backbone of our finance department, you will play a critical role in managing day-to-day financial operations, ensuring compliance, and delivering key financial insights to help drive strategic decisions across our diverse portfolio of restaurants.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full spectrum of accounting operations: A/P, A/R, payroll, general ledger, and fixed assets.
  • Perform monthly bank reconciliations and ensure timely financial statement preparation (monthly, quarterly, annually).
  • Ensure compliance with FBR, PRA, SRB, and other regulatory authorities.
  • Lead internal and external audits.
  • Support month-end and year-end close processes.
  • Deliver timely and accurate financial reporting to senior management.
  • Oversee record-keeping, document safekeeping, and ensure organized filing systems.
  • Supervise accounting assistants and bookkeepers; review and assign their tasks.
  • Resolve billing/payment-related queries efficiently.
  • Generate and analyze ERP-based financial reports.
  • Collaborate with HR and ERP leads when required.
  • Present clear, error-free accounting reports and insights.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of proven experience in accounting, mandatory in hospitality or F&B Industry
  • Strong knowledge of tax, audit, and regulatory frameworks (FBR, PRA, SRB).
  • Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables) and accounting software/ERP systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, manage, and develop junior staff.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • High level of integrity, accuracy, and confidentiality.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
