About the Role: Hirestaff.ai is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our client's team. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing a wide range of general accounting functions, preparing comprehensive financial reports, and ensuring compliance with international and local accounting standards. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and experience supporting US-based clients. Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day general accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger reconciliations.
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
• Ensure timely and accurate recording of all financial transactions in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
• Assist in budget preparation, variance analysis, and financial forecasting.
• Reconcile bank statements and other financial records.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve financial discrepancies and provide accurate financial insights.
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP, IFRS, as well as other relevant financial reporting requirements.
• Utilize accounting software and Microsoft Excel to maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Education: CA Finalist (mandatory). Additional academic qualifications such as ACCA, CPA, or a Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field will be considered an advantage.
• Experience: 3–5 years of experience in general accounting, finance, or a related field. Prior experience working with US-based clients is highly desirable.
• Accounting Knowledge: In-depth understanding of general accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance with US GAAP, IFRS etc.
• Software Proficiency: Proficiency in accounting software (such as QuickBooks, Xero, SAP, or similar) and Microsoft Excel (intermediate to advanced level).
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify financial discrepancies and recommend effective solutions.
• Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and meticulousness in financial records and reporting.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with clients and financial stakeholders.
• Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and handle high-volume transactions efficiently.
• Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively with international teams, considering time zone differences with the US.
• Location: Based in Pakistan and able to attend the office for training sessions and as required by management.

Work Arrangement:

• This is a hybrid position based in Pakistan. While most work can be performed remotely, the candidate must be available to attend the local office for training and periodic in-person meetings as required.
