We are looking for a skilled and motivated SQL Server DBA to join our team. The ideal candidate should have 2–3 years of hands-on experience in database administration, SQL query optimization, and performance tuning. A strong analytical mindset and a solid foundation in SQL Server database management are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

Database Administration: Perform routine maintenance, performance tuning, backup and recovery operations, and implement high-availability solutions (e.g., Always On Availability Groups, Log Shipping, Replication).

Monitoring & Maintenance: Monitor database health, capacity planning, and proactively address performance issues or errors.

Database Design: Develop and maintain database schemas, apply normalization techniques, and design efficient indexing strategies to ensure scalability and data integrity.

Query Development: Write, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, views, and functions for data retrieval and manipulation.

Performance Optimization: Analyze slow-running queries and use tools like Query Store, Execution Plans, and Index Tuning Wizard to improve database performance.

Security & Compliance: Implement role-based access controls, audit logs, and follow data security best practices.

ETL Support: Assist in developing and optimizing ETL workflows and jobs for data movement and transformation between systems.

Collaboration: Work closely with developers, analysts, and business stakeholders to support data-driven decisions and ensure high data availability and integrity.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Hands-on experience with SQL Server 2016 or later.

Familiarity with SSIS or other ETL tools is a plus.

Experience with version control (e.g., Git) for database objects.

Strong documentation and communication skills.
