Accounts Associate

Overview

Job Purpose: The candidate will be responsible for supporting the operations of the accounts section.

Job Description

• Preparation of receivable and payable reports for REDC (executive training center) and updating them on a monthly basis
• Manual booking of revenue for REDC – Organisation-Focused Programs
• Preparation of program-wise revenue details for REDC programs and updating them on a quarterly basis
• Preparation of receivable and payable reports for internal customers and updating them on a monthly basis
• Booking of receipts for internal customers
• Booking of receipts for student societies
• Booking of receipts against provident fund loan repayments through cheque or IBFT
• Monthly reconciliation of NMF receivable/payable balances
• Booking of sponsored grant receipts in the system and updating grant-wise MIS on a monthly basis
• Issuance of invoices to customers and recording of receipts in the system
• Assisting supervisors in the preparation of monthly accounts
• Assisting in the completion of the annual audit
• Sugging improvements in assigned areas, including automation of manual tasks and controls, where applicable
• Any other task assigned by the line manager or HOD

Skills

• Solid understanding of accounting standards and principles
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Hands-on experience with ERP software
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Skilled in client and public interaction
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities

Qualification

At least a Bachelor (Hons) or Masters in relevant field.

Experience

At least 1-2 years of relevant experience.
