Staff Accountant (Evening Shift)

Location: Lahore

Timings: Monday to Friday, 5:00 PM – 2:00 AM

As we expand, we are looking for an ambitious and detail-oriented Accountant (Evening Shift) to join our team and play a vital role in our continued success.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Communicate with clients to understand and address their accounting needs.
  2. Maintain clients' books of accounts by recording bank and credit card statements in QuickBooks.
  3. Prepare corporate financial statements for Canadian companies, from planning to completion (including supporting working papers).
  4. Assist in preparing corporate and personal income tax returns.
  5. Calculate and prepare GST/HST, payroll, and other government remittances.
  6. Draft client correspondence including emails, letters, and memos.
  7. Support administrative functions and perform other related tasks as assigned by management.
  8. Accurately calculate, post, and manage accounting figures and financial records.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance (additional certifications such as ACCA or CPA are preferred).
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of relevant accounting experience.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks and MS Office Suite (Excel and PowerPoint in particular).
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent time management and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to detail with the ability to prepare and interpret financial reports.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
