Job Description – Audit Associate

Department: Audit

Reports to: Audit Associate / Audit Executive

Position Summary

The Audit Associate will be responsible for assisting in planning and executing audit assignments, ensuring compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements and industry standards. This role will be reported directly to the Head of Internal Audit.

Key Responsibilities

· Assist senior auditors in planning and executing audit assignments.

· Perform basic testing of transactions, records and supporting documents.

· Help in verifying compliance with company policies and procedures.

· Prepare and organize audit working papers under supervision.

· Support in data collection and analysis for audit purposes.

· Report preliminary findings to seniors for review.

· Follow up on assigned tasks and ensure timely completion.

· Maintain confidentiality of all financial and operational information.

· Stay updated with basic accounting and auditing practices.

Qualifications & Skills

· Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related.

· Knowledge of auditing standards and accounting principles (IFRS/IAS).

· Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and ERP systems (SAP/FlowHCM preferred).

· Good analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Experience

· 0–2 years of relevant experience in auditing, accounting, or finance.

· Internship or prior experience in an audit firm/finance department will be an advantage.
