The Role: We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Data Engineer to join our team and who will play a key role in building and maintaining Client's data echo system. You will also be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying data pipelines, transforming and enriching data, and ensuring the quality and accessibility of data for stakeholders across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement scalable and efficient data pipelines using dbt, Apache Spark, AWS Glue, and Polytomic.
• Own the optimization and performance of data pipelines, ensuring timely delivery of data for critical business needs.
• Build and maintain data models in data warehouse systems like Oracle, Snowflake, or AWS Redshift, with a focus on data quality and consistency.
• Develop and implement data cleansing and transformation routines to transform raw data into transformed and cleaned data using dbt.
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business users to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Monitor and maintain data infrastructure health, troubleshoot issues, and implement data security measures.
• Automate routine tasks and implement DevOps practices to streamline data engineering processes.
• Document data pipelines, data models, and processes for future reference and knowledge sharing.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and analysts to design, develop, and optimize data pipelines and workflows.

Requirements:

• Senior-level: At least 5+ years of experience as a data engineer or related role.
• Data Management: Knowledge of data modeling techniques, data quality practices, and data governance principles.
• Communication and Collaboration: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders across technical and non-technical teams.
• Problem-solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex data issues.
• Continuous Learning: Passion for learning and staying updated with the latest advancements in data engineering technologies.

Technical Expertise

• In-depth expertise in Oracle, Snowflake, or AWS Redshift.
• Hands-on experience on dbt (Data build tool)
• Strong understanding of Apache Spark and its ecosystem (Spark SQL, DataFrames, Spark Streaming).
• Programming Languages: Proficiency in Python (Pandas, Numpy, Matplotlib, etc.), SQL & PL/SQL.
• Experience with cloud services in AWS, including EC2, S3, RDS, Redshift, Lambda, and AWS Glue, with a strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, data storage, and scalable data processing solutions.

Bonus Skills

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with machine learning libraries and frameworks.
