We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Senior Consultant Specialist.

In this role, you will:

  1. Handle and lead POD of developers.
  2. Support, design, and develop solutions for DBS Data Delivery.
  3. Support identification and resolution of incidents related to IT services, as directed by DevOps leadership.
  4. Ensure service resilience, sustainability, and recovery time objectives are met for all software solutions.
  5. Have knowledge of Python (lists, tuples, dictionaries) and object-oriented programming.
  6. Have good exposure to Python libraries and packages.
  7. Have hands-on experience with Linux environments.
  8. Possess scripting experience in Windows and Linux using Python, PowerShell, and Bash.
  9. Have knowledge or experience with configuration management systems (Chef, Ansible, Puppet, etc.).
  10. Possess high technical skills in GitLab/GitHub pipeline setup and SonarQube integration.
  11. Have a good understanding of DevOps processes and automation to optimize development and release timelines.
  12. Be familiar with Jupiter Hub, Anaconda, and PyCharm.
  13. Be an expert in Python, with knowledge of web frameworks such as Django and Flask.
  14. Have a good understanding of front-end technologies like JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
  15. Be experienced with deploying code using Gunicorn and WSGI servers on Windows and Linux.
  16. Have basic knowledge of R programming and installation.
  17. Integrate user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic.
  18. Implement security and data protection measures.
  19. Integrate data storage solutions like databases and key-value stores.
  20. Understand Python's threading limitations and multi-process architecture.
  21. Be familiar with event-driven programming in Python.
  22. Understand platform-specific delivery optimizations, e.g., mobile vs desktop.
  23. Create database schemas supporting business processes.
  24. Possess strong unit testing and debugging skills.
