We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Senior Consultant Specialist.

In this role, you will:

  1. Provide timely and effective technical support to HSBC Fusion users by resolving IT-related incidents and requests through troubleshooting, diagnosis, and problem resolution.
  2. Provide technical guidance and communicate technical fixes (e.g., root cause analysis, configurations) in a way that is understandable to all involved.
  3. Assist in significant major incidents or aged cases to resolve them in a timely fashion and provide SME input to reduce resolution time.
  4. Build system domain knowledge across the Fusion estate to provide guidance on the usage and operation of the Oracle Fusion Platform.
  5. Collaborate and establish good working relationships with key stakeholders, including business team stakeholders, Project Fusion stakeholders, wider POD teams, ERP Strategy, and Support Teams.
  6. Effectively communicate relevant information, products, and services to the Service Desk team leads at appropriate times and in appropriate styles throughout the lifecycle of service-impacting incidents.
  7. Build rapport within and across teams to improve service delivery, achieve bank objectives, and maintain a high-performance culture within the IT Service Desk.
  8. Seek, listen to, and accept feedback, using mistakes, failures, and successes as data for future planning and development. Accept personal responsibility and encourage others to complete tasks on time and to high standards.
  9. Manage the IT risks associated with the adoption of emerging technology solutions, especially regarding externally hosted cloud-based services.
  10. Promote the importance of following risk and compliance policies and procedures to colleagues. Recognize inefficiencies and suggest ways to improve local risk and compliance processes.
