Responsibilities:

  • Manage finance team by assigning tasks as per current requirement.
  • Oversee & evaluate financial plans, risk management plan, and their validity based on allocated budget.
  • Direct the preparation of financial statements, income statement, balance sheets, tax returns, government agency reports, risk analysis reports etc.
  • Administer projection of sales & profit to actual figures.
  • Compare budgeted expenses to actual expenses.
  • Oversee necessary adjustments related to future projections & budgets.
  • Oversee budget and constrain it to maximize profit.
  • Identify opportunities for the expansion of business through new product areas.
  • Expand business investment opportunities of funds through banks to raise additional capital required for expansion.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Certifications in Finance & Business.
  • 3-5 years previous experience as a CFO in the Retail industry.
  • 8-10 years total accounting or financial management experience.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability, confidence, and executive presence – ability to motivate staff.
  • Excellent knowledge of corporate financial law.
  • Hands-on experience in ERP, Risk Management, and budgeting.
  • Problem solver & critical theorist mindset.
  • Must be a resident of Karachi.
