Job Purpose

To supervise maintenance activities in the production area and support the smooth operation of machines.

Education, Experience & Skills
  • B.Tech / BS / DAE / B.E (Mechanical / Electronics) preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar role preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective liaising with different departments.
  • Strong leadership abilities to guide and mentor team members, foster collaboration, and drive performance and development.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Business/Maintenance
  • Ensure adherence to the PM checklist as per plan.
  • Work within timescales and deadlines.
  • Participate in changeover, preventive, and corrective maintenance activities of production machines.
  • Minimize mechanical breakdowns and achieve required OEE of machines.
  • Ensure adherence to PM checklist and coordinate parts procurement with maintenance manager during corrective maintenance.
  • Maintain documentation and records of maintenance activities.
  • Ensure availability of logs and records related to maintenance of the area.
  • Carry out special projects as assigned.
  • Identify and contribute to cost-saving projects for operational excellence.
  • Update engineering stores about inventory requirements and levels.
  • Fabricate spare parts locally to reduce import dependence.
  • Liaise with production and utility teams to implement effective preventive maintenance plans.
  • Manage corrective and preventive maintenance of all Electronic Verification Systems installed on the production floor.
People Management & Development
  • Model leadership behaviors.
  • Develop performance plans for teams and empower young staff to make business decisions.
