Network Administrator - ICT Planning/Development Dte

Join to apply for the Network Administrator - ICT Planning/Development Dte role at National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST).

Qualifications / Experience:

  • BE/BS in IT/Computers/Software or Equivalent from a recognized HEC University.
  • MS in IT/Computers/Software from a recognized HEC university is an added advantage.
  • Three (03) years post-qualification experience in Routing and Switching.
  • Experience in enterprise-scale network designing and operations.
  • Technical expertise in multi-brand Next-gen firewalls.
  • Networks and security solutions designing and operations experience.
  • Hands-on experience with heterogeneous diversified brand networks.
  • Multi-site WAN connectivity experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Knowledge of multi-layered networks with protocols like OSPF and RIP.
  • Practical knowledge of BGP and SDN is desirable.
  • Intermediate Linux skills.
  • CCNA Routing & Switching Certification, with training from Cisco Networking Academy.
  • Certifications like JNCIA-ER, JNCIA-EX from Juniper Networks, or equivalent training.
  • CCNP or equivalent certification is a plus.
