We are looking for a Business Intelligence (BI) Developer to create and manage BI and analytics solutions that turn data into knowledge.

In this role, you should have a background in data and business analysis. You should be analytical and an excellent communicator. If you also have a business acumen and problem-solving aptitude, we'd like to meet you. Ultimately, you will enhance our business intelligence system to help us make better decisions.

Responsibilities

  1. Translate business needs to technical specifications
  2. Design, build and deploy BI solutions (e.g. reporting tools)
  3. Maintain and support data analytics platforms (e.g. MicroStrategy)
  4. Create tools to store data
  5. Evaluate and improve existing BI systems & Processes
  6. Collaborate with teams to integrate systems
  7. Develop and execute database queries and conduct analyses
  8. Create visualizations and reports for requested projects

Requirements

  1. Proven experience as a ETL/BI Developer
  2. Telecom Industry experience is preferred
  3. Background in data warehouse design (e.g. dimensional modeling) and data mining
  4. In-depth understanding of database management systems, online analytical processing (OLAP) and ETL (Extract, transform, load) framework
  5. Familiarity with BI technologies (e.g. MS Excel, Microsoft Power BI, MicroStrategy, Qlikview)
  6. Hands on Knowledge & experience of SQL queries, Joins, Indexes, Stored Procedures etc.
  7. Hands On experience of Linux Shell Scripting for automation of data processing jobs
  8. Knowledge of Linux platform
  9. Proven abilities to take initiative and be innovative
  10. Analytical mind with a problem-solving aptitude
  11. BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field
