Main Objectives

To maintain Company and third-party aircraft in accordance with the approved maintenance schedule using approved methods and procedures.

Main Duties
  • Carry out all routine and non-routine maintenance of GF aircraft within the scope of the approval (including A&C and Avionics) as applicable.
  • Perform all routine and non-routine maintenance on third-party aircraft for which the jobholder holds type approval (including A&C and Avionics).
  • Ensure on-time departures of these aircraft following relevant routine scheduled and unscheduled maintenance checks.
  • Respond to schedule changes at short notices by accompanying aircraft to perform routine and non-routine maintenance.
  • Travel as required for aircraft recovery during AOG situations and to handle pre-departure checks for GF and other third-party aircraft.
  • Maintain the station's bonded store, office, and environment to ensure cleanliness, tidiness, and serviceability.
  • Keep station manuals and technical publications up-to-date as per company requirements.
  • Maintain the station's 'impress' system and coordinate with Gulf Air Technical Material Department for replenishment of materials shortages.
  • Provide accurate and timely debriefs of station messages to Maintenance Control Centre regarding aircraft departure, technical delays, defect rectification, ADDs/MDDs raised, and ETS during prolonged delays.
  • Deputize for the Station Engineer when necessary.
Experience

Minimum five years' experience in aircraft maintenance, including at least 3 years as a certifying engineer.

Qualifications

Must hold an Aircraft Engineer License recognized by the Authority and Gulf Air Technical Quality Department with a minimum of one or two aircraft types.
