Senior Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) Developer

DGNextGen is seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior ODI Developer to lead our enterprise data integration initiatives. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) and a strong understanding of data warehousing, ETL/ELT processes, and enterprise data architecture. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing complex data integration solutions that support mission-critical business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust and efficient ETL/ELT solutions using Oracle Data Integrator (ODI 12c).
  • Analyze business and technical requirements to deliver high-performance data pipelines and transformation logic.
  • Collaborate with data architects, business analysts, and source system owners to ensure seamless data flow across platforms.
  • Optimize ODI mappings, packages, and load plans for performance, reliability, and scalability.
  • Implement error handling, logging, and data quality checks to ensure integrity of data pipelines.
  • Participate in data modeling and help design data warehouse / data lake structures where applicable.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data integration issues in development, UAT, and production environments.
  • Document integration solutions, workflows, and deployment steps as part of operational readiness.
  • Mentor junior ODI developers and contribute to development standards and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle Data Integrator (ODI 11g/12c).
  • Strong expertise in ETL/ELT processes, data mapping, and transformation logic.
  • Solid understanding of Oracle databases, PL/SQL, and performance tuning.
  • Proficient in integrating data from multiple sources (flat files, databases, APIs, etc.).
  • Experience in working with large-scale data warehouses, BI environments, and data lakes.
  • Familiarity with version control tools, DevOps practices, and deployment automation.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with cloud platforms (Oracle Cloud, AWS, Azure) and cloud-native data integration tools.
  • Exposure to Oracle Financial Services Analytical Applications (OFSAA) or banking/financial services data models.
  • Familiarity with data governance, data quality, and metadata management tools.
  • ODI Certification is a plus.
