The Customer/Sales Manager at SMJ International Industries is responsible for overseeing all aspects of customer service and sales operations within the organization. This role involves managing a team of sales representatives, developing sales strategies, building and maintaining customer relationships, and ensuring exceptional service delivery to enhance customer satisfaction and drive revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and sales objectives.
  2. Identify new business opportunities and market trends to expand the customer base and increase sales.
  3. Monitor sales performance metrics and KPIs, such as sales volume, conversion rates, and customer acquisition costs.
  4. Provide leadership and guidance to the sales team, including setting sales targets, conducting performance evaluations, and coaching team members to achieve sales goals.
  5. Customer Relationship Management:
  6. Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers to foster loyalty and retention.
  7. Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a timely and professional manner to ensure customer satisfaction.
  8. Implement customer feedback mechanisms to gather insights and continuously improve the customer experience.
  9. Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and product development, to align customer needs with business strategies and offerings.
  10. Team Leadership and Development:
  11. Recruit, train, and onboard new sales team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed.
  12. Provide ongoing coaching, mentoring, and support to sales representatives to help them achieve their targets and maximize their potential.
  13. Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that encourages teamwork, collaboration, and professional growth.
  14. Sales Planning and Forecasting:
  15. Develop and implement sales plans and forecasts to guide sales activities and resource allocation.
  16. Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify opportunities and risks.
  17. Prepare sales reports, presentations, and forecasts for management review and decision-making.
  18. Product Knowledge and Training:
  19. Stay up-to-date on product knowledge, features, and benefits to effectively communicate with customers and support sales efforts.
  20. Conduct product training sessions for sales team members to ensure they have a deep understanding of the products and can effectively convey value propositions to customers.
Job Specification

Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field.

Proven experience in sales management, preferably in the cosmetics, skincare, or beauty industry.

Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a sales team.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach.

Demonstrated ability to develop and execute sales strategies to achieve business objectives.

Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and trends to drive informed decision-making.

Proficiency in sales CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite is due weightage.
