IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL

The Group Director Cybersecurity & MSSP Services is a mission-critical leadership role responsible for defining and executing PTCL Group's cybersecurity strategy and for leading Managed Security Services for a diverse client base.

This role oversees the protection of critical information assets, platforms, and data across internal and cloud environments while ensuring full compliance with regulatory frameworks and industry certifications. It also drives the delivery of MSSP services, including SOC operations, incident response, and security architecture for enterprise customers.

As both internal guardian and external service enabler, the incumbent ensures PTCL Group remains resilient against evolving cyber threats while unlocking business value through trusted security offerings.

HOW CAN YOU EXPRESS YOUR TALENT

Cybersecurity Strategy & Planning

• Define and continuously refine the Group-wide cybersecurity strategy to proactively address evolving threat vectors, business risk appetite, and regulatory demands.
• Lead the design and adoption of a Zero Trust security architecture across all critical assets, ensuring strict identity verification, least privilege access, and micro-segmentation across enterprise, cloud, and hybrid environments.
• Translate strategic plans into executable cybersecurity programs, including multi-year investments, architecture blueprints, and capability roadmaps aligned with business objectives and digital transformation priorities.

SOC, SIEM & Threat Management

• Lead 24/7 Security Operations Centers (SOCs) across internal environments and MSSP public cloud infrastructure.
• Ensure advanced threat detection, incident response, and continuous monitoring through SIEM platforms and threat intelligence integration.
• Manage SOC front office (monitoring, triage) and back office (investigation, escalation) functions, including SOC engineering and automation.
• Oversee SOC process optimization, use-case development, and cyber analytics maturity.

Vulnerability Management & Cyber Defense

• Direct Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT) operations across internal and client-facing environments.
• Ensure timely remediation and risk mitigation, integrating global threat feeds into vulnerability prioritization.
• Continuously assess and strengthen defensive posture using AI/ML-driven threat modeling where applicable.
• Oversee Red Team operations to simulate adversarial tactics and improve detection and response capabilities.

MSSP Strategy, Operations & Delivery

• Manage end-to-end service delivery of PTCL Group's Managed Security Services Portfolio (MSSP), including design, implementation, and monitoring of enterprise-grade security solutions.
• Ensure SLA compliance, incident handling, and operational excellence across all client engagements.
• Support pre-sales and client engagement in coordination with B2B teams, articulating PTCL's value proposition in cybersecurity.

Incident Response & Recovery Planning

• Lead cyber incident response management, including real-time coordination, stakeholder engagement, and forensics.
• Maintain and regularly test business continuity and disaster recovery plans for security events.
• Institutionalize post-incident learning and continuous improvement mechanisms.

Compliance, Audit & Certifications

• Ensure compliance with national and international security standards (e.g., PTA directives, ISO 27001, PCI DSS, CSA STAR).
• Facilitate external and internal audits for both internal operations and MSSP services.
• Oversee remediation plans and maintain audit readiness at all times.

Leadership, Talent & Capability Building

• Lead and develop a high-performing cybersecurity and MSSP team
• Foster talent development, succession planning, and continuous upskilling in line with evolving threat vectors and tools.
• Represent PTCL Group in external cybersecurity forums, government engagements, and industry roundtables.

Continuous Improvement & AI-Driven Transformation

• Leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI), Generative AI, and AI Agents to enhance threat detection, incident response, and operational efficiency.
• Automating repetitive and manual tasks within SOC and MSSP environments to improve speed, accuracy, and scalability.
• Integrating AI-driven analytics and decision support systems to proactively identify vulnerabilities, predict attack patterns, and optimize resource allocation.
• Championing transformation initiatives that modernize cybersecurity infrastructure and service delivery models through emerging technologies.
• Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to pilot and deploy AI-based solutions that align with PTCL Group's digital strategy and customer expectations.
• This strategic focus ensures PTCL Group remains at the forefront of cybersecurity innovation while delivering resilient, intelligent, and adaptive security services.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL

Qualification

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related discipline. Master's degree shall be preferred.
• Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor, or SANS GIAC are highly desirable

Experience:

• Proven experience managing large-scale security operations, incident response, and MSSP delivery
• Demonstrated success in aligning security frameworks with enterprise strategies and regulatory landscapes
• Strategic Cyber Leadership: Translate threat landscapes into actionable strategic programs
• MSSP Business Acumen: Deliver client-focused, scalable, and trusted security services
• Operational Excellence: Drive performance across SOC, VA/PT, and incident response
• Cyber Risk & Regulatory Influence: Shape cyber risk posture and ensure alignment with regulatory and enterprise compliance expectations
