We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Manager for the Tax Compliances Department. This role involves strategic tax planning, market analysis, and hands-on execution to contribute to the firm's overall growth. The ideal candidate will be responsible for:

  • Reviewing client and authority notices with detailed reasoning.
  • Updating notices list, appeal list, and tribunal list.
  • Verifying tax computations, schedules, and workings before replying to notices.
  • Informing clients about tax gaps or liabilities via Email & WhatsApp.
  • Obtaining client approval for tax liabilities and fee payments.
  • Handling all income tax and sales tax correspondence with FBR, including audits and monitoring.
  • Managing indirect taxes correspondence with SRB, PRA, BRA, KPRA, and ISB.
  • Representing the firm in meetings with AC/DC, ADC, and Commissioners to address queries.
  • Securing orders from authorities in favor of clients.
  • Filing appeals and representing clients in appeals before commissioners and tribunals, including arguing cases and obtaining stays.
  • Overseeing company tax computations and e-filing of annual ITRs.
  • Discussing notices or cases with clients and reviewing filings before submission.
  • Obtaining exemption orders when applicable.
  • Performing any other tasks assigned by the Managing Partner.

Qualification

  • ACCA/CA/ICMA/LLB Qualified / Finalist, M.COM or MBA from an HEC-recognized institution.

Experience

  • Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience, preferably in top audit or tax consultancy firms.

Skills & Competencies

  • Excellent knowledge of tax accounting and all types of tax returns.
  • Proficiency with tax portals and MS Office.
  • Strong time management and leadership skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
