Senior .NET Developer

Senior .NET Developer role at Contour Software. The Division Constellation1 is a leading provider of integrated technology, media and data solutions to real estate franchisors, brokerages, agents and MLS organizations and associations. We are looking for a Sr. .NET Developer for the development of our Accounting products (Real Ledger), which are used by real estate organizations. The hired candidate will be working within the R&D division of Constellation1.

• Triaging and analyzing customer reported issues.
• Analyzing code and/or customer data to answer business questions as needed.
• Analyzing and understanding requirements and gathering additional details where needed.
• Designing well planned/organized solutions that meet requirements and are easily maintainable.
• Writing clean, well-documented code that adheres to team standards and best practices.
• Take ownership of coding assignments with minimal supervision required.
• Performing peer code reviews.
• Updating tickets with relevant notes for knowledge sharing and historical record.
• Testing code changes before passing off to QA.
• Providing notes to QA team as needed to ensure coverage of test cases.
• Attending and participating in all Agile related meetings, breakouts, etc.
• Continuously monitoring the platform to ensure that it is performing well.
• Identifying improvements that can be made to increase performance or improve features.
• Identifying tech debt that can be addressed to push the codebase forward and make it more maintainable.

• Bachelor\'s degree from an accredited college or university or a certificate from a technical training institute.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Experience with accounting software.
• 6 – 10 years In-depth knowledge and experience building .NET desktop applications.
• Expert level experience using C# and WPF with MVVM design pattern.
• Strong experience using MS SQL.
• Strong experience building and consuming REST APIs.
• Strong ability to solve complex problems independently.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.

• Experience w/ ActiveReports (GrapeCity).
• ACH Gateway experience.
• Token-based credit card processing.
• Working with application performance monitoring systems.
• MS SQL performance analyzer.
