Must Have

  1. General Ledger: Understanding chart of accounts, financial dimensions, and fiscal calendars.
  2. Accounts Payable (AP): Vendor setup, invoice processing, payment journals, and vendor settlements.
  3. Accounts Receivable (AR): Customer invoicing, collections, and payment matching.
  4. Cash and Bank Management: Bank reconciliation, cash flow forecasting, and fund transfers.
  5. Fixed Assets: Asset creation, depreciation methods, and disposal processes.

Nice to Have

  1. Budgeting: Ability to configure and manage budgets, forecasting, and control features.
  2. Cost Management: Knowledge of costing methods, cost allocation, and freight cost tracking.
  3. Revenue Recognition: Configure and manage revenue recognition for logistics contracts.
  4. Project Accounting: Manage project budgets, track expenses, and recognize revenue for logistics projects.
  5. Inventory Valuation: Understand the financial impact of inventory movements and stock valuation.
  6. Transportation and Freight Costs: Handle financial implications of shipping, transportation, and carrier contracts.
