At Ace Ledgers, we are an accounting firm that helps our USA-based clients focus on growth by managing their accounting, tax, bookkeeping, and payroll needs. We work with many clients in the construction industry, ecommerce, SaaS, and home health care and manage their full Quickbooks accounting.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a QuickBooks Accounting Lead, located in the Karachi Division. The QuickBooks Accounting Lead will oversee all accounting activities, manage financial records, prepare financial reports, and ensure compliance with accounting standards.

They will also serve as the right hand to the Partner of the firm, managing their client interactions as well as project management on the monthly close process via Monday.com and many Balance Sheet Reconciliation updates for every client.

Daily tasks include working with the Accounting Staff & Team to resolve complex Quickbooks issues with clients that have messy books and keeping the balance sheet up to date on a consistent basis.

You must be comfortable with speaking with clients directly on Zoom calls to go over their financials and have proper understanding of their books to be able to provide them with proper Financial Reports and Dashboards.

This includes using QuickBooks for bookkeeping, managing accounts payable and receivable, handling payroll, and performing general ledger/bank reconciliations.

The role also involves providing strategic advice to clients and being comfortable with updating USA GAAP based clients on their financials, via email/Slack/WhatsApp and assisting with client onboarding.

You should know how to properly reconcile and clean up clients old financials and historical books to get them in a proper form with clean accurate and timely financials.

Qualifications

  • (MUST HAVE)Proficiency in QuickBooks and general bookkeeping (5+ years at least)
  • Experience with financial reporting and account reconciliations
  • Ability to manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll functions
  • Knowledge of accounting standards and compliance requirements
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Must have a professional accounting qualification: CA, ACCA, or CMA.
  • (Preferred) Audit background.
  • Hands-on experience with QuickBooks (must-have).
  • Tech-savvy—comfortable using ChatGPT or similar AI tools for research, email writing, etc.
  • Experienced professional with at least 5–7 years in accounting, or a related field.
