Responsibilities include:

  1. Preparing Quarterly and Annual Financial Statements with notes and supporting documents for Conventional & Takaful Business.
  2. Preparing monthly Management Accounts.
  3. Finalizing schedules related to Investment, Solvency, Fixed Assets, Intra-Company settlements, SECP Returns, Unclaimed Dividends, Due From/To Companies, Reinsurance, Leasing, Premiums, Claims & Commissions.
  4. Establishing and implementing internal controls to ensure efficient financial operations.
  5. Reconciling, investigating, correcting, and adjusting books of accounts.
  6. Supervising routine financial tasks and developing controls for data accuracy and reliability.
  7. Reviewing receipts, payments, adjustments, tax returns, and bank reconciliations.
  8. Preparing and finalizing Corporate Tax Returns and coordinating with tax advisors.
  9. IFRS 17 Specialist
  10. Leading IFRS 17 implementation and compliance organization-wide.
  11. Supporting actuarial and financial model development and reporting frameworks.
  12. Collaborating across departments to ensure integrated IFRS 17 processes.
  13. Setting up controls and reconciliation processes aligned with IFRS 4 and Solvency frameworks.
