We are looking for a Manager of Facilities for our reputable client in Karachi.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the project and ensure the efficient operation of all infrastructures, including electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, fire and security alarm systems, critical UPS, precise cooling systems, and all essential supporting equipment.
  • Establish programs for preventive maintenance and liaise with contractors and suppliers.
  • Schedule downtime when necessary for emergency repairs.
  • Prepare weekly status reports regarding all ongoing projects.
  • Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly site walks and review assets on a daily basis (as required by the contractual agreement) with a report of performance on a weekly/monthly basis for stakeholders.
  • Prepare detailed monthly reports on asset condition, facility inspection, and performance outcomes as per the agreed SLA and KPIs of the contract.
  • Develop requests for proposals for high-value, multi-year projects and perform detailed bid analysis.
  • Procure monthly cleaning & hygiene consumables, MEP consumables, and spares for the fixed contract.
  • Develop and maintain good working relationships with all stakeholders.
  • Coordinate and mediate between the client and the local on-site team, focusing on process improvements and recommendations for customer experience enhancements.
  • Oversee EHS operations and ensure the safety of the work environment on site.
  • Process invoices and ensure accuracy of cost center coding.
Job Specification
  • Bachelors or Masters in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or Masters in Business Administration.
  • 8 to 10 years of facility administration experience.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, leadership, and team-building skills.
