We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Mechanical Design Engineer with a specialization in Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD). You will play a critical role in the design, analysis, and optimization of mechanical systems. You will be responsible for utilizing advanced CFD tools and techniques to model, simulate, and improve fluid flow, heat transfer, and other related physical phenomena in various engineering applications.

Key Responsibilities
  1. CFD Analysis: Conduct detailed CFD simulations to analyze fluid flow, heat transfer, and related processes within mechanical systems, components, and products.
  2. Design Optimization: Work closely with the design team to optimize mechanical designs based on CFD analysis results, improving performance, efficiency, and safety.
  3. 3D Modeling: Develop and modify 3D CAD models of mechanical components and systems for use in CFD simulations.
  4. Multiphysics Simulations: Integrate CFD analysis with other simulation techniques (e.g., FEA, thermal analysis) to perform comprehensive Multiphysics simulations.
  5. Prototyping and Testing: Collaborate with testing teams to validate CFD models against experimental data and physical prototypes.
  6. Technical Documentation: Prepare detailed technical reports, presentations, and documentation of CFD analysis results and design recommendations.
  7. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including R&D, product development, and manufacturing, to ensure designs meet all necessary requirements.
  8. Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in CFD tools, methods, and industry trends to continuously improve analysis accuracy and efficiency.
Requirements
  1. Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
  2. Experience: 3 years of experience in mechanical design and CFD analysis. Experience in a relevant industry such as automotive, aerospace, energy, or HVAC is preferred.
  3. Software Proficiency: Strong proficiency in CFD software (e.g., ANSYS Fluent, COMSOL, Star-CCM+, Open FOAM) and 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA, Siemens NX).

    In-depth understanding of fluid dynamics, heat transfer, and thermodynamics.

    Experience with turbulence modeling, heat exchanger design, and multiphase flow analysis.

    Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, MATLAB) for automation and customization of CFD processes.
  4. Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex simulation results and provide actionable design recommendations.
  5. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  6. Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment, collaborating with engineers, designers, and other stakeholders.
