The Division:Trapeze Group has a team of industry experts located across the region, including a local operations base in Dubai, UAE. Trapeze Middle East provides a suite of public transport software solutions that enable authorities and operators to deliver enhanced, sustainable, equitable, and connected passenger journeys.
The Position:The division is looking for a seasoned Industry Solution Manager (SIM) who is an experienced professional with a complete understanding and wide application of industry best practices, principles and theories as they relate to Taxi and other Point-2-Point Transport. The role needs to effectively articulate industry trends, best practices, technological innovation and the Trapeze TEAMS product portfolio to both internal and external stakeholders at all levels of organizations.
The TEAMS ISM will also be required to visit the customer site and work with customers to ensure the solutions continue to meet their business requirements. This pre-sales position will fulfill the business development needs of our expansion plans in the Middle East region, by supporting the Sales Executives directly and working with any internal stakeholders whose technical input may be required.
The chosen individual will work out of the Contour Software Lahore resource center office, as an extension of the division-based R&D department.
The Industry Solutions Manager will:- Be the technical lead on all pre-sales activities of the TEAMS solution in the Middle East to start and will share responsibility with Sales Executives for ensuring that TEAMS Sales booking targets are achieved and that Sales Executives are supported through all aspects of the pre-sales process.
- Have responsibility for gathering market and competitive intelligence, spotting trends and threats and working with other parts of the organization to address these issues.
- Work to increase the exposure of the Trapeze brand and introduce the TEAMS product line in the market through thought leadership activities.
- Work with the current customer in Dubai to better align solution to their business requirements in supporting the pre-sale of the maintenance and support agreement.
- Introduce the Trapeze TEAMS product to the Middle East market. Specifically, the focus territory will primarily be the GCC and selected accounts in the Middle East region.
- Work closely with the Sales Executives through all aspects of the pre-sales cycle to ensure that the TEAMS Sales booking target is exceeded.
- Develop a clear set of customer account targets for the TEAMS product line and work with the Sales Executives to develop opportunities in these accounts with the ultimate goal of contracting these opportunities.
- Ensure that all solutions that you propose to customers are deliverable.
- Ensure that all proposed solutions are quoted accurately and have achieved internal approval before being delivered to a customer.
- Work with Sales Executives and other Trapeze Group experts to respond to RFP requirements, scope services and quote the project.
- Work with the TEAMS System Architect to understand and build the vision and strategic objectives for the TEAMS product and tools and ensure that this strategy is executed effectively from a pre-sales perspective.
- Understand and help build the multi-year product roadmap that goes far beyond today's product portfolio and the value it provides to the market.
- Understand the functionality of adjacent solutions which would integrate to TEAMS in the Taxi or Point-2-Point transport space.
- Always strive to deepen our competitive intelligence by working with customers, prospects and industry contacts to understand our competitors' value propositions, strengths, and weaknesses and ensure these are documented and evangelized throughout the organization.
- Work with the Marketing group to solidify speaking opportunities at key conferences and industry events, publish periodic blog posts on industry trends and hot topics and publish articles in key industry publications.
- Work with the Marketing group to develop defendable customer stories that highlight the capabilities and effectiveness of our TEAMS solutions.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required from time to time.

Required Education and Experience:
- Degree/Diploma in Computer Science or another technical discipline.
- 5+ years in the Taxi or Point-2-Point Transport industry.
- 3+ years working with Government regulators or operational departments in the Public Transport sector.
- 3+ years of experience in a pre-sales role.
