About the Role

This Digital Sales Engineer role involves driving Industry 4.0 solutions, smart factories, and the limitless capabilities of I4.0 and IoT. As a sales engineer for industrial solutions, you will work closely with clients to understand their pain points in OT/IT integration and digital transformation. Your technical knowledge and sales acumen will enable you to identify opportunities and develop customized solutions to meet client needs.

    • Identify and engage potential customers in industrial automation and digital transformation sectors.
    • Conduct prospecting activities, schedule meetings with decision-makers, and close deals effectively.
  • Client Relationship Management

    • Collaborate with clients to understand their challenges in OT/IT integration and digital transformation.
    • Utilize engineering expertise to propose tailored, insightful solutions.
  • Proposal Creation

    • Partner with pre-sales, technical, and engineering teams to create customized technical proposals.
  • Presentation and Solution Demonstration

    • Deliver impactful, client-focused presentations and solution demonstrations.
  • Crm and Sales Performance

    • Maintain accurate sales records and pipelines in CRM systems.
    • Achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets while monitoring key performance metrics.
  • Industry Knowledge

    • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies to position solutions effectively.
  • Internal Collaboration

    • Act as a liaison between clients and internal teams to address technical queries and ensure successful outcomes.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechatronics, Computer Science, or related fields).
  • Minimum of 1 year in sales or engineering in instrumentation, automation, or related industries (preferred).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to connect with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong presentation and problem-solving abilities.
  • Familiarity with industrial automation, instrumentation, or OT/IT systems is a plus.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and a solid understanding of industrial automation technologies.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and goal-oriented.
