Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Project Location(s): Karachi / Lahore / Islamabad, Pakistan

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering

Job Requirements
  1. Review/Finalization of Piping related deliverables i.e. Plot plan, Piping Layouts, Piping Isometrics, Piping Design Basis, Piping Material Specifications, MTO/BOQ etc.
  2. Preparation of Data Sheets (for valves and special items)
  3. Preparation of Tie-in Procedures / Critical Line List / Tie-in Schedule and Tie-in Sketches.
  4. Perform and review pipe stress calculations.
  5. Assist in the identification of critical lines requiring pipe stress analysis, review the line list to ensure an adequate level of criticality is defined.
  6. Shall have experience in performing Stress Analysis for various systems such as Metallic, FRP/HDPE piping, cryogenic piping, etc.
  7. Preparation of Pipe Supports: Detailed Drawings & Schedule.
  8. Involvement in Procurement Support (i.e. Preparation of Data Sheets, MRs, TBEs, Vendor Docs Review etc.)
  9. Participation in Project Kick-off, Design Review meetings, etc.
  10. Ability to review Tenders/RFQs w.r.t. scope of work, prepare respective technical clarifications, finalize techno-commercial bid proposal, post-bid clarifications, etc.
As our ideal candidate, you should have:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (as minimum)
  2. Minimum 8-10 years of experience of FEED & Detail Engineering in Oil and Gas Sector.
  3. Strong knowledge of piping codes & standards, best engineering practices.
  4. Proficiency in drafting & analysis software's (e.g., AutoCAD, MicroStation, Navisworks, CAESAR-II etc.)
  5. Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
