  • Oversees the smooth operations of the pharmacy services department and the chain of pharmacies under AMWS umbrella.

  • Assist in the onboarding process of new hires.
  • Train staff in prioritizing customer orders and delivering them efficiently.
  • Instruct staff to always interact professionally and courteously with customers.
  • Maintain an approved drug and controlled substances list and verify expiry dates.
  • Monitor product displays and shelves, as well as the general appearance of the pharmacy.
  • Address customers' requests and complaints.
  • Prepare hours schedule for subordinates along with time off and timesheets submission to HR essential for payroll processing.
  • Supervise entire inventory management related to the chain of pharmacies and maintain an approved drug list.
  • Interact and maintain positive customer relations.
  • Identify opportunities to add value to customers by suggesting varied sale items benefiting customers.
  • Verify record's accuracy either daily or weekly commensurate to prescription volume.
Job Specification
  • Qualification: Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from a recognized university.
  • A Bachelor's degree in business administration, or an equivalent qualification preferred.
  • Experience: 3 to 5 years of demonstrable experience in a managerial capacity at chain of pharmacies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong time-management, staff management, and organizational skills.
  • Self-driven and motivated to increase efficiency and performance.
  • In-depth knowledge of the pharmaceuticals uses and side effects of prescription drugs and controlled substances.
  • Advanced knowledge of protocols regulating the safe storage of prescription drugs and controlled substances.
  • Exceptional communication skills in advising customers and managing employees.
  • Ability to proactively follow up on any irregularities with scripts processed at the pharmacy.
  • Competency in IT Skills and pharmacy management software System.
