Job Description

We are seeking an experienced pharmacist to join our team as a Coordinator. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing pharmacy services, providing frontline team management and coaching to pharmacy staff, and maintaining basic job needs such as interpretation of physician orders, intervention, compounding, dispensing, patient education, controlled drugs management, and handling and inventory management of pharmaceutical supplies.

  • Assist in implementing optimal drug therapy plans and guidelines.
  • Identify, resolve, and prevent potential and actual drug-related problems.
  • Participate in clinical research activities and publications.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or Pharm D, Master's degree in Pharmacy or Professional Registration in UK or USA preferred.
  • At least four to six years of experience in tertiary care hospital pharmacy, with two years at supervisory level.
  • Ability to interpret and understand prescriptions, formularies, and their pharmacological actions.
  • Demonstrate supervisory skills and ability to work with people of various backgrounds and training.
