
Portfolio Sales Manager

We are hiring a Portfolio Sales Manager to lead outreach and relationship development with U.S.-based investment firms. This role combines capital markets fluency with consultative sales execution and requires professionalism and a structured approach to build trust with institutional clients. You will work alongside firm leadership to develop and manage a pipeline of RIAs, independent broker-dealers, and boutique asset managers.
This is an opportunity to join a revenue-facing role with potential for long-term growth and client ownership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the entire sales process from prospecting to closing, including discovery, qualification, and follow-up
- Build and maintain a structured CRM pipeline targeting financial advisors, fund managers, and C-suite decision makers
- Create customized outreach messages, pitch decks, and follow-up proposals
- Schedule and lead Zoom presentations, demos, and onboarding discussions with U.S. clients
- Coordinate with operations and investment teams to ensure delivery alignment and client satisfaction
Market Intelligence & Business Development:
- Stay informed on U.S. macroeconomic trends, industry shifts, and competitive dynamics
- Identify key pain points for asset managers and position South Bay solutions accordingly
- Monitor industry verticals such as RIAs, family offices, and alternatives for new opportunities
- Represent the firm at industry events and forums as needed
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Math, or related field (LUMS preferred)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in financial services, sales, or client engagement roles
- Understanding of macroeconomic and capital market dynamics (U.S. focus preferred)
- Exceptional communication skills to convey complex ideas confidently
- Familiarity with U.S. asset manager and wealth advisor ecosystems
- Process-oriented, curious, and comfortable working across time zones
- Experience with CRM tools and sales enablement platforms
