Job Summary

A Full Stack Software Engineer specializing in Node and React at Creative Chaos is responsible for developing server and client applications across various platforms. This includes writing RESTful APIs and developing front-end interfaces for web applications. The Principal Software Engineer ensures that the application's functionality, security, and performance meet the design specifications and are bug-free. They also lead a team of engineers, mentor team members, and provide guidance and training.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of software engineers

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent
  • 6-8 years of relevant industry experience
  • Strong communication skills
  • Proficiency in JavaScript technologies
  • Knowledge of Node.js and frameworks like Express.js and NestJS
  • Experience with backend components and RESTful APIs
  • Experience with relational and NoSQL databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB
  • Experience with HTML and CSS for UI development
  • Experience with React.js, Redux, and Context API
  • Knowledge of design systems like Material-UI or Atomize, and understanding of security standards
  • Ability to design database structures
  • Experience with unit testing and achieving at least 90% test coverage
  • Familiarity with GitHub, JIRA, and collaboration tools
  • Understanding of fundamental design principles
  • Basic front-end technology knowledge
  • Flexible, versatile personality with strong presentation skills and team influence
