Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Provide support in the planning, execution, and monitoring of civil engineering projects, assisting senior engineers in project coordination and management activities.
  2. Assist in the development and refinement of project designs and specifications, collaborating with senior engineers and other stakeholders to ensure design integrity and compliance with project requirements.
  3. Conduct site inspections and assessments to monitor project progress, identify any issues or deviations from plans, and report findings to senior engineering staff for resolution.
  4. Assist in implementing quality assurance measures to ensure that civil engineering projects meet design specifications, regulatory requirements, and quality standards, participating in quality control inspections and assessments.
  5. Maintain accurate project documentation, including project plans, progress reports, and technical documentation, and assist in preparing reports and presentations for management and stakeholders.
  6. Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including user departments, contractors, and regulatory authorities, providing updates on project status, milestones, and issues as directed by senior engineering staff.
  7. Assist in identifying and addressing project-related challenges and issues, working with senior engineers to analyze problems, develop solutions, and implement corrective actions to keep projects on track.
  8. Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulatory requirements at project sites, following established safety procedures and practices to promote a safe working environment for project personnel and stakeholders.
  9. Comply with the risk management framework.
  10. Participate actively in risk management activities across the organization.
  11. Ensure that key risks are identified, reported, recorded, and managed in a timely manner.
  12. Receive appropriate training in risk management.
