The Infinity Group is a London-based payroll service provider for the construction industry. We manage subcontractors' payroll, removing the risk of IR35 and employment law-related issues.

Our service handles invoicing, receives payments from construction companies or agencies, processes their payments, and deducts CIS tax and Umbrella Service.

This position requires working within the UK time zone (GMT). The working hours will be from 8:00 PM to 4:00 PM GMT (10:00 AM to 6 PM Egypt time).

The role is currentlyworking from home.

We are looking for an experienced accountant who speaks English and can provide 2 professional references. Reporting to the Director, this role involves accountancy and payroll administration responsibilities, presenting a unique opportunity to contribute to our growth.

Main responsibilities

1. Accountancy:

· Manage all accounting transactions

· Prepare budget forecasts

· Publish financial statements on time

· Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closings

· Reconcile accounts payable and receivable

· Ensure timely bank payments

· Compute taxes and prepare tax returns

· Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements

· Report on the company's financial health and liquidity

· Audit financial transactions and documents

· Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary

· Comply with financial policies and regulations

· Bookkeeping

2. Administration:

· Ensuring weekly payroll and compliance are completed in a timely manner

· Accurately input and manage payroll data.

· Provide comprehensive support to subcontractors on payroll-related matters.

· Preparing and issuing statements of earnings.

· Prepare and issue earnings statements, and paychecks, and manage direct deposits.

· Maintain worker records and reconcile and produce reports for management.

· Manage new registrations and leavers.

· Issue invoices.

Experience/ Required skills:

· At least 3 years of experience. Experience in a similar role, combining accounting and payroll administration duties, is preferred.

· Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.

· Proven ability to calculate financial figures accurately and provide financial insights.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

· Highly organised with excellent time management skills, capable of managing multiple priorities in a high-volume environment.

· Strong proficiency in Excel, report writing, and financial management systems.

· Problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail and analytics.

· Outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities.

· Good understanding of GAAP or IFRS.

· Strong knowledge of UK corporation tax, VAT, and self-assessment, including tax filing and reporting is a plus
