IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL

Be responsible for Operation & Maintenance of PTN/DWDM/ADM/Regenerators terminals (OFS Long haul / Subsidiary Optical Fiber Systems) along with allied power plant/ Air conditioners, DG Sets, NMS including Main PTCL Backbone (Multivendor Huawei, ZTE, Nokia and Fiber home). Ensuring optimizing quality standards. Managing network data base and co-ordination between different stake holders including IP Ops team, switching teams, National and Zonal NOCs and all OFS main Backbone Terminals in assigned Areas.

HOW CAN YOU EXPRESS YOUR TALENT

  • Implement proactive measures to ensure fault free communication to the valued customers to achieve the availability of transmission system.
  • Improve network/systems restoration time.
  • Manage & resolve complex network faults and submit report to the higher management as & when required.
  • Efficient utilization of available spares / stores and its timely forecast for procurement.
  • Provision of effective Level-2 and Level-3 support for Long haul PTN / OTN/SDH/DWDM equipment and NMS/EMS system and develops and implements contingency plans in case of system failure.
  • Responsible for timely configuration/provisioning of network availability especially during the Break down.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL

Qualification:

  • BS/BE in Electrical/Telecom Engineering
  • 2 years of experience
  • Network Operations & Management
  • Electrical / Electronics / Telecommunication
  • Health & Safety Environment
  • Technical Communication
