We Remotify is a leading provider of remote staffing solutions, connecting skilled professionals with businesses worldwide. We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to join our team at our Lahore office, supporting our UK-based clients with accurate financial record-keeping and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Maintain and manage financial records, including invoices, receipts, and payments.
  2. Process accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  3. Reconcile bank statements and company financial records.
  4. Prepare VAT returns and ensure compliance with UK tax regulations.
  5. Assist with payroll processing and employee expense claims.
  6. Generate financial reports and support management with financial insights.
  7. Collaborate with accountants for end-of-year financial reporting.
  8. Ensure accuracy in financial data entry and maintain organised records.

Requirements:

  1. Proven experience as a Bookkeeper, Accountant, or similar role.
  2. Strong knowledge of UK accounting principles, VAT regulations, and payroll processing.
  3. Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, or Sage.
  4. Excellent numerical and analytical skills with great attention to detail.
  5. Strong organisational and time-management abilities.
  6. Good communication skills and ability to work independently.
  7. Experience in working with UK clients is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. AAT or ACCA qualification (or working towards one) is preferred.
  2. Prior experience in a bookkeeping role for UK clients.
