Finance Director

The Head of Finance/Financial Controller is a critical member of the executive team, responsible for driving financial performance and achieving organizational objectives.

  • Developing and implementing financial strategies that align with organizational goals is a key responsibility.
  • Providing insights and recommendations to stakeholders based on financial analysis and data-driven decision-making is essential.
  • Staying up-to-date on market trends and industry developments is crucial for identifying opportunities and mitigating risks.
Main Responsibilities:Financial Strategy:
  • Designing and implementing comprehensive financial plans, forecasts, and variance analysis enables informed strategic business decisions.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive financial performance and achieve organizational objectives.
  • Identifying and evaluating opportunities for growth and improvement through data-driven analysis.
Financial Analysis:
  • Providing actionable insights and recommendations to stakeholders based on financial analysis and data-driven decision-making.
  • Developing and maintaining financial models and forecasts to support strategic planning and decision-making.
Treasury & Cash Flow Management:
  • Oversight of all aspects of cash flow management, including forecasting, collections, and disbursements, is critical for maintaining liquidity.
Risk Management & Internal Controls:
  • Conducting thorough risk assessments and implementing robust internal controls safeguards company assets.
Compliance:
  • Maintaining relationships with external auditors and ensuring strict compliance with regulatory requirements is essential for avoiding costly penalties.
Team Management:
  • Leading and managing the finance department efficiently requires strong leadership and communication skills.
Cost Management:

Identifying and implementing cost-saving measures enhances profitability by reducing unnecessary expenses.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field (CA or ACCA qualification highly valued). A minimum of 10 years of experience in a senior role, preferably within the food and beverage industry, is required.
