What You'll Do:
  • Build and maintain high-performance, scalable APIs using Node.js and Fastify.
  • Develop server-side logic and microservices to power modern web applications.
  • Collaborate closely with frontend developers, designers, and product managers.
  • Work with relational and/or NoSQL databases to manage and structure data.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
  • Optimize performance and scalability for high-traffic applications.
  • Ensure API security, error handling, and best practices across the stack.
  • Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and daily standups.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with Fastify and Node.js.
  • Strong knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+), asynchronous programming, and RESTful APIs.
  • Experience working with databases like PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or similar.
  • Familiarity with Git, Postman, Docker, and backend deployment workflows.
  • Solid understanding of backend architecture and performance optimization.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Must be available to work onsite at our Lahore office.
Nice to Have:
  • Experience with TypeScript.
  • Knowledge of GraphQL, WebSockets, or message queues (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka).
  • Familiarity with DevOps tools, cloud platforms (AWS, GCP), or CI/CD pipelines.
