Position: Executive Legal Litigation

Reporting to: Assistant Manager Litigation

Job Type: Permanent

Job Purpose:

  • To support the organization in ensuring robust internal reporting, compliance, effective corporate governance, and litigation management by providing dedicated legal and operational assistance, thereby minimizing risk and enhancing accountability across the business.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Internal Reporting:
  • Assist in the preparation, review, and submission of internal reports to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with management and regulatory expectations.
  • Regulatory Compliance:
  • Monitor and interpret applicable laws, rules, and regulations; support the implementation of internal controls to ensure ongoing compliance.
  • Maintain records and documentation required for audits or inspections.
  • Corporate Governance:
  • Support the development and enforcement of corporate governance policies and procedures.
  • Assist with board and committee documentation, minutes, and compliance with governance frameworks.
  • Litigation Support:
  • Coordinate with legal counsel on litigation matters, including document collection, case tracking, and internal communication.
  • Maintain legal files and support the resolution of legal disputes in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Policy & Process Improvement:
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of compliance and governance processes.
  • Recommend enhancements to ensure best practices and risk mitigation.
  • Stakeholder Coordination:
  • Liaise with internal departments and external regulatory bodies as needed for compliance, reporting, and legal matters.

Eligibility Criteria (Education, Knowledge, Experience and Skills):

Education:

  • LLB, LLM

Work Experience:

  • 5 Years of relevant legal experience

Skills – Generic:

  • Knowledge of MS office is required

Skills – Job Specific:

  • Must be well aware of legal processes.
