ServiceNow Developer (ITSM, ITOM, DevOps)

Location: Hybrid

Job Type: Full-Time

Experience Level: 3-5 Years

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced ServiceNow Developer with hands-on expertise in IT Service Management (ITSM), IT Operations Management (ITOM), and DevOps. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of ServiceNow solutions that drive automation, operational visibility, and streamlined IT processes across the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Design and develop custom applications, workflows, UI policies, client/server scripts, and integrations in ServiceNow
  2. Configure and maintain ITSM modules including Incident, Problem, Change, Request, and Knowledge Management
  3. Implement and support ITOM modules such as Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, and CMDB health
  4. Integrate DevOps toolchains (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub, Azure DevOps) with ServiceNow using IntegrationHub and custom APIs
  5. Develop CI/CD pipelines within ServiceNow and automate release cycles
  6. Create and maintain Discovery schedules, MID Server configurations, and troubleshooting logic
  7. Build and manage business rules, script includes, catalog items, and flow designer-based automations
  8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into scalable ServiceNow solutions
  9. Ensure platform compliance with ITIL best practices, security standards, and governance models
  10. Support UAT, testing, deployment, and documentation
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow development
  • Strong expertise in ITSM processes and configuration
  • In-depth understanding of ITOM modules: Discovery, Service Mapping, CMDB
  • Experience with DevOps integrations: GitHub, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Bitbucket
  • Proficient in JavaScript, REST/SOAP APIs, and Flow Designer
  • Knowledge of MID Servers, probes/sensors, and CMDB normalization
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) is required
  • Preferred: Certified Application Developer (CAD), ITOM Implementation Specialist, DevOps Integration Specialist
