Knowledge and Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge of object-oriented PHP and Laravel PHP Framework
  • Hands-on experience with MySQL schema design, SOLID principles, and REST API design
  • Software testing
  • MySQL profiling and query optimization
  • Creative and efficient problem solver
  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git, Code Commit
  • Familiarity with AWS
  • Experience working within an Agile/Scrum development process
  • Data mining, analysis, and custom reports generation based on requirements
  • Knowledge of working with WebSocket

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain web-based PHP applications.
  • Collaborate with the UX team to build innovative applications.
  • Enhance backend data services and existing API data services.
  • Lead the entire web application development lifecycle, from concept to post-launch support.
  • Lead and mentor the development team, ensuring project alignment and standards.
  • Manage tasks, workloads, and team collaboration.
  • Provide guidance and support to team members.
  • Maintain applications using standard development tools and methodologies.
  • Document development processes and architecture.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders for project progress.
  • Keep the Project Manager informed of development status.
  • Contribute to improving development practices.
  • Stay updated on web development trends.
  • Provide maintenance, debugging, and support for applications.
  • Participate in strategic planning for web initiatives.
  • Evaluate team performance and identify growth opportunities.

Qualifications and Experience required

  • BS-IT/BS-CS/BS-SE or relevant degree
  • Minimum 5 years of PHP-Laravel experience
  • At least 2 years with Vue.js
  • At least 1 year in a Team Lead role
  • Proficiency with AWS and Docker for 2+ years
  • Experience leading a tech team for at least 1 year
  • Knowledge of Scrum and Sprint planning
  • Product-based company experience is a plus
