About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced iOS Developer / Team Lead to lead the development of complex and scalable mobile applications. This role requires not only strong technical expertise in iOS development but also proven experience in team management, project execution, and system analysis. You will be responsible for overseeing a team of developers, hiring talent, and delivering high-quality features and software solutions based on defined PRDs (Product Requirement Documents).

As a key contributor, you'll work closely with cross-functional teams to bring innovative, high-performance mobile applications to life. This is a hands-on leadership position that demands both coding and management acumen.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage, and grow a team of iOS developers to ensure project goals are met.
  • Identify and hire qualified talent as needed.
  • Perform system analysis, resource allocation, and task planning.
  • Ensure timely execution and release of project milestones and application features.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and management to clarify requirements and align on deliverables.

Technical Execution

  • Design and build advanced applications for the iOS platform using Swift and SwiftUI.
  • Analyze complex technical requirements and architect appropriate solutions.
  • Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code with an emphasis on reusability.
  • Work on tasks involving image/video processing and optimization using native iOS libraries.

Quality & Optimization

  • Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to mitigate and address these issues.
  • Maintain high standards of code quality and apply modern best practices.
  • Ensure applications conform to Apple's design principles and interface guidelines.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • 6+ years of experience in iOS application development.
  • Proven team management experience (mandatory for Team Lead position).
  • Proficient in Swift and SwiftUI.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working with native image and video processing libraries, including but not limited to:
  • OpenCV, Metal, CoreML, CoreImage, Core Video, AVFoundation, VideoToolbox, Vision.
  • Understanding of video and audio codecs (e.g., MP4, H.264, AVC, HEVC, AV1, AAC) is a plus.
  • Experience optimizing performance, battery usage, and memory management in mobile apps.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to Have

  • Prior experience as a lead developer in a startup or agile environment.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing for iOS.

Published one or more iOS apps in the App Store.
