The SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) Lead is responsible for designing, configuring, and optimizing SAP EWM solutions to enhance warehouse operations. This role aims to streamline processes, improve inventory management, and increase efficiency in the supply chain. The lead/ specialist will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation and continuous improvement of the SAP EWM module.

Key Responsibilities:

Your responsibilities will include:

  • System Design and Configuration: Lead the design and configuration of SAP EWM solutions, ensuring they align with business requirements and best practices.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and develop strategies to improve warehouse processes and overall supply chain efficiency.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with key stakeholders to define and prioritize strategic initiatives related to warehouse management.
  • Technology Roadmap: Develop and maintain a technology roadmap for SAP EWM, aligning it with organizational goals and emerging trends.
  • System Design and Configuration: Lead the design and configuration of SAP EWM solutions, ensuring they align with business requirements and best practices. The planning, documentation, reporting and presenting of data.
  • Implementation & Documentation: Oversee the implementation of SAP EWM, including data migration, system setup, and user acceptance testing. In addition, create and maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations, processes, and user guides.
  • System Maintenance: Ensure the smooth operation of SAP EWM by performing regular system checks, updates, and troubleshooting.
  • Training and Support: Conduct training sessions for warehouse staff and other end-users, providing ongoing support and troubleshooting assistance.
  • Incident Management: Manage and resolve incidents related to SAP EWM, ensuring minimal disruption to warehouse operations.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor system performance and key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and optimization.

Qualifications:

You should have/be:

  • SAP EWM Certified with a minimum 2 full cycle experience in S/4 HANA WM implementation and 1 S/4 HANA EWM implementation experience is must.
  • The incumbent must be SAP EWM Functional.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP WM and other SAP modules, including SD and MM etc.
  • Relevant Microsoft & other IT Certifications.
  • At least 5-8 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong logistics business knowledge, experience, and good communication skills.
