We are seeking an innovative and proactive Manager to lead our Alternate Pathways program, aimed at expanding skill-building and career opportunities for TCF alumni beyond traditional education channels. This role focuses on developing, implementing, and managing vocational training, short courses, online certifications, diplomas, and specialized programs that support alumni in building skills to advance their careers. The ideal candidate will have expertise in establishing partnerships with organizations and institutions, designing and launching impactful programs, managing diverse projects, advocating for alumni opportunities, and providing personalized guidance and counseling for career growth.

Responsibilities:
  • Identify, create, and craft programs outside the formal education landscape that offer alternate pathways to employment for TCF alumni who do not pursue traditional university education.
  • Focus on enabling alumni expertise in digital skills, IT-enabled pathways, and emerging technologies such as web 3.0, ensuring their preparedness for the future job market.
  • Collaborate with mission-aligned organizations and institutes to leverage existing programs and resources that align with the needs and aspirations of TCF alumni.
  • Develop new programs tailored to the specific requirements of TCF alumni, focusing on areas such as certificate courses, technical and vocational training, freelancing, 21st century IT and technology skills, entrepreneurship, and tech certifications.
  • Oversee guidance and counseling programs for alumni, providing personalized support and guidance in choosing and pursuing alternate pathways based on their interests, aptitudes, and goals.
  • Conduct outreach activities and advocate for alternate pathways, highlighting the benefits and opportunities they offer to TCF alumni.
  • Strategize and execute initiatives to grow the alternate pathways programs, aiming to achieve a target of 5,000+ program graduates within the next 3-5 years.
  • Identify solutions to bridge inequalities in access to technology and infrastructure, ensuring equal opportunities for all alumni to participate in alternate pathways programs.
  • Collaborate with local and international partners to expand and diversify the options available to TCF alumni, enabling access to a wide range of alternate pathways.
  • Build and maintain a strong network of industry professionals, educational institutions, and organizations to enhance the reach and impact of the alternate pathways programs.
  • Lead a team of professionals involved in program design, implementation, and support, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
