Job timings: 5pm-2am onsite

Location: Green forts 2 lahore

Responsibilities

  • Analyze raw data: assessing quality, cleansing, structuring for downstream processing
  • Design, develop, and implement robust data pipelines using ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes
  • Write and optimize high-performance SQL queries to support data transformations and reporting
  • Lead the management and optimization of our Snowflake data warehouse; strong expertise in columnar data stores is a must
  • Define and maintain data quality checks and monitoring frameworks
  • Partner closely with data scientists and analysts to ensure data accessibility and usability
  • (Bonus) Develop interactive visualizations and dashboards using Power BI or Tableau
  • (Bonus) Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform
  • Design accurate and scalable prediction algorithms
  • Collaborate with engineering team to bring analytical prototypes to production
  • Generate actionable insights for business improvements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field—or equivalent work experience
  • 4-5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role with increasing leadership responsibilities
  • Strong command of SQL and deep understanding of relational and columnar databases
  • Solid experience building ETLs with Python or similar high-level programming languages
  • Expertise in Snowflake is highly preferred
  • Good grasp of cloud-based platforms, preferably AWS, but GCP or Azure is also relevant
  • Hands-on experience with data visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent (preferred)
  • Familiarity with Terraform or other IaC tools is a plus
  • Deep understanding of predictive modeling, machine-learning, clustering and classification techniques, and algorithms
  • Fluency in a programming language (Python, C,C++, Java, SQL)
  • Familiarity with Big Data frameworks and visualization tools (Cassandra, Hadoop, Spark, Tableau)
